Today, Twitter manually and wrongfully suspended the account of my company, g8keep.

If this was just a personal account, I really wouldn't care as much. But, g8keep is a pre-seed venture backed company. We have employees. We have salaries and benefits to pay. g8keep is a full time job for everyone on the team.

The unfortunate thing is, Twitter is quite literally one of the main distribution and marketing platforms in our industry. This was the platform that we used to build our business since day 1. I don't like that this is the case, but in the crypto industry, quite literally everyone is on Twitter.

Until now, I didn't really see the negative effects of censorship on social media platforms. That is, until it happened to me and my company. 

Without any notice, and without any non-automated responses, they were able to essentially delete our company's presence from their platform.

This is a pretty eye opening moment for me to start prioritizing this platform.

dude used a company branded “test” token in launch & marketing materials & then avoided proper follow up comms & disclosures, effectively rugging his own users  

similar but different to what b3 did 

not sure how wrongful the suspension is—on purpose or not; do better

we are not g8clank. for days leading up to our launch with clanker people created a few tokens on their platform and our platform with the name trying to capitalize.

same thing happened on both versions of our release on base and abstract. 

people made tokens named g8/g8keep to try and capitalize. we don’t restrict token names and this is unfortunately what can happen. we posted a chart to show the snipe protected launch chart as we have in the past for tokens and followed up after to clarify that it’s not our token. 

we have categorically stated on twitter and telegram that we do not have a token nor will we. 

we like to exemplify how our launch mechanics work, and the goal isn’t to specifically promote the token shown. this is why since this, we don’t show the name of the token when showing early launch charts. 

i do really apologize for the confusion here and anyone that purchased the token with expectations that it was tied to us.
