A third not immediately obvious result of Merkle’s raise is it’s both a moat and a deterrent to new entrants.  $150M+ is now table stakes to have a serious shot at shaping the future of web3 social at the protocol level.  If you’re not here already, you’re unlikely to catch up.  Smart move; very strategic.
