Unfortunately these contracts are not due to inflation. It’s NBA owners making even more egregious amounts of money, and being forced to pass on some of that money to the players

I like to buy a stack of $1-$5 country records from 1980s or earlier. Then usually return about 10% of them but also find some gems

Jokic is the master of this, and also likes to “accidentally” let the ball bounce off his foot after a made basket, allowing him to run another ~10 seconds off game clock before he even inbounds the ball

NBAIP 2: Shot clock starts when the ball hits the floor, instead of a player – so teams with 2nd half lead can’t inbound the ball by rolling it on the floor and waste 10-20 seconds of game clock
