In fact, Rubic saves you time and money, which is why you pay the fee (typically, $1 for on-chain and $2 for cross-chain swaps). In most cases it saves you much more, as Rubic pools data from 90+ DEXs and bridges, ensuring optimal rates. Otherwise, you have to manually check numerous providers to understand the best trade for your pair and network. For example, using Uniswap directly on their front-page would cost you 0.15% for every swap of a popular token like ETH, USDT or USDC, however when using it via Rubic, you not only save on their fees, but can also check if there are better options on other DEXs.
