I recently learned from your cast that Japan also has rice noodles. This was a surprise to me! In Thailand, we have both thin and wide rice noodles. The wider ones might resemble the noodles in your bowl.

Ooooh nice. These noodles are much thinner.
The ones in the one we have is the flat rice noodle type.
