these could exist in parallel of course. imo all depend on cypherpunk remaining influential in parts of the polycentric social layer (core devs, validators, our media). because from a culturally concentric perspective degen is thicker and might overwhelm

i think cypherpunk should be seen as ineliminable as 21m is to a bitcoiner. in the sense that should cypherpunk lose influence Ethereum would no longer be recognisably Ethereum.
