Nice, thanks Skull! It's interesting—I was watching a lecture and apparently Dante based his version of hell, at least in some parts, on the underworld in Virgil's Aeneid

Dante is in the air. Just finished watching Hannibal and there’s a great line: 

“Dante was the first to conceive of hell as a planned space, an urban environment. Before Dante, we spoke not of the gates of hell, but of the mouth of hell.”

Don’t know how true it is, but it has a ring.
