Caroline Pham, Acting Chair of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), announced on Monday the start of a series of public roundtables focusing on innovation in market structure, digital assets and prediction markets. This shift in approach coincides with similar changes at the Commission. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the appointment of Paul Atkins, a figure supporting digital currencies, as the head of this institution.
