🛠️Maintenance Alert 🛠️ Plaza Deposits were paused for 1 hours while the team investigated a suspicious transaction 🤔 Deposits are now unpaused. All funds deposited into Plaza are safe, and deposits are back open 🎉 Plaza Deposits were exploited for $14k, impacting 5 users who had deposited into Plaza who also had active unlimited spending approvals on PancakeSwap. If you did not have an active infinite approval on a DEX, you couldn't have been affected 😢 The exploit was possible due to a permissions issue on the Deposit contract. The Plaza Deposit Contract has been upgraded by Plaza's Governance Committee. 🤝 Plaza has reimbursed the 5 users who were impacted by the exploit out of the Plaza Treasury 🙏 More details on the exploit vector used here will be shared shortly. Plaza is committed to protocol safety and underwent audits with Zellic and Sherlock. We fell short here but will be better 🫡
