Farcaster is a good example of a crypto app where money is not the app directly

easy to use, doesn't even feel like you are using a blockchain

but its very existence adds significant value to the crypto economy

All my favourite crypto apps are like this too. Got heavy into Sorare and it just feels like I'm playing fantasy premier league. As it's evolved it's become less and less dependent on ETH / wallets and the like but still depends on NFT's as the base items of the game. Perfect for onboarding the masses.
