It's interesting to me, how the people not into art tends to like the first one more, whereas the people very into art, seems to prefer the second one. How about you?

I would say its because artists prefer more room to imagine, where as non artists like to be given more to work with. I'm generalising a bit, but you get what I mean hopefully. Beautiful works nonetheless πŸ’œ

1st looks like a scene taken from a game, it's beautiful, but offers less room of interpretation for the observer. 2nd is dramatic. One would wonder if the whole scene is inside a giant cave? Is there a shimmering artifact that illuminates that certain area there? It's beautiful, while at the same time, open ended.
