Sammy’s leash training has begun! So far, she’s walked around a bit herself around the room and up steps, understands that she shouldn’t go further than I let her, but doesn’t quite get the idea of following me yet 😅 - excellent start though!

Once I switched to a stretchy leash (one with tension) my cat was a much better walker 

Great that Sammy accepted the harness tho! IMO next step would be leave the door open and let Sammie go outside at his leisure (in harness and you with the leash) 400 $degen

Yeah I have to get a stretchy leash and a better harness. This is our training kit :) Brigi and sammy aren’t friends yet so I’m currently using it as a way to have both kitties in the same room without killing each other and start them on a lead. Win-win 🐾 Sammy knows our back yard well because she used to sleep there so it’s a safe place, she’ll do well I’m sure of it! Hope you and River are enjoying holidays!
