Steps of learning to /catwalk 

1) Get used to eating the harness (see post yesterday from @breech)

2) Introduce the leash (🎥 below) 

Suggestion: use a stretchy leash. 

The one shown below does not have tension. IMO creating tension is how my cat learned boundaries and when I switched 5x’d my control on a walk

Once your cat seems normal on leash then just open the door..

Let them walk out and be next to them. They will go as comfortable.
