Regardless it’s a form of entertainment. For those who walk their cats, it’s a source of education and community 

You should try! Get a harness to start. Put it on 3 times a day for 10 mins until your cat stops walking like a robot. Then just attached a leash and open the door and follow ur cat 🐈
