Vincent van Gogh [note 1] or Vincent Willem van Gogh [note 2] (Dutch: Vincent Willem van Gogh) (born March 30, 1853 - died July 29, 1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter whose work had a wide influence on the art of the 20th century.
