I don't think there's any project, but you could just have a smart contract wallet, which gets pinged once a month and if a month is missed, it sends funds to pre-set addys

definitely a good method to recover funds. i think that the problem of inheritance is actually larger than just fund recovery. it feels like there must be some defi projects dealing with some of the other big issues arising from inheritance (e.g., unclarity how funds should be distributed, feuds in the family, etc.)

Social Recovery wallets feel like the only reasonable option here, other than having a Safe with a trusted signer like eg. a lawyer.
