Meet Pelin Genç @pelingenc, a multidisciplinary photographer based in Istanbul, Turkey, specializing in landscape, travel, and minimalist photography. Her work often incorporates long exposure techniques, resulting in images with soft, calming colors and a minimalist aesthetic. 

She joined the web3 world in 2022, her collections being minted on various blockchains like ETH, Tezos, Solana, and Base.

Her black and white photography blends minimalist style with graphic elements, light, shadows, and contrast. Her work has been featured in various exhibitions and platforms in Turkey, including long-term collective photography projects, life & street photography, and landscape photography, as well as international NFT exhibitions in Rome, Bali, and NYC.

In 2024, her photograph "Still Standing" received an Honorable Mention in the Fine Art category at the Monovisions Black and White Photography Awards. This image captures a worn-out pier, symbolizing resilience and inner strength in challenging circumstances.

In February 2024, Pelin co-organized the "Hayalimdeki İstanbul – Istanbul in My Dreams" photography exhibition. This project, developed over a year, presented a nostalgic vision of Istanbul, drawing inspiration from old photographs and postcards. The exhibition featured images from locations that still retain the city's historical ambiance, offering viewers a journey through time.

Beyond her photographic endeavors, Pelin has contributed articles to international and local magazines, conducted workshops on time-lapse photography and the use of filters in long exposure photography, and participated in international NFT exhibitions. She continues to collaborate on collective photography projects with artists both locally and internationally, sharing her unique perspective and passion for visual storytelling.
