m/branson’s artistic practice spans analog and digital mediums, from hand-drawn sketches to generative art powered by JavaScript, p5.js., and processing. Photography, her first creative love, remains vital to her process, informing her perspective and compositions. Beyond creation, she’s an active participant in the art community, writing and conducting interviews with fellow artists, always in pursuit of deeper understanding and connection.

Before transitioning into the visual arts, m/branson spent seven years as a firefighter and paramedic, an experience that reshaped her approach to life and creativity. A transformative stint in Antarctica reinforced her desire to build a life, not just a career. This ethos—bridging the magic and the mundane—now fuels her art, where themes of beauty, tension, and possibility emerge through abstraction and exploration.

Every composition she creates is a distillation of lived experience. From childhood afternoons making mud pies in the Mojave Desert to responding to emergency calls on moonlit roads, from witnessing Earth's untouched beauty at the bottom of the world to navigating personal loss—her work is an imprint of all that has shaped her. Travel, love, and introspection thread through her visual narratives, creating art that is deeply personal yet universally resonant.

A recurring motif in her work is the circle—an element she once resisted but now embraces. It appears in varied textures, sizes, and styles, often the only figurative anchor in her compositions. Over time, she’s realized the circle represents people—those who have passed, those who remain, and those who converge in memory. It’s a quiet yet persistent force, inviting her to listen, interpret, and celebrate connections through her art.
