We thought hard about being a @moxie.eth Hero this week and how we'll celebrate that. Introducing Pkok Finterviews - Cast-form farcaster interviews, 20 questions to some of our favorite people. We aim to tell stories of phenomenal individuals shaping the art ecosystem on web3. It's also a great way for us and other heroes to get to know and engage with them. Oh, never mind! I'll answer you now haha My attraction to art was born out of a need to express what I felt and saw, to connect with the world in a visual and emotional way, but my career as a professional artist began when one of my photographs was selected by Canon for the exhibition '365 days of summer' in Madrid. That selection was a great impulse that made me realize that I wanted to dedicate myself fully to art 🤍

Thank you for being with us on our FInterview! 1000 $DEGEN. Here's another question for you. Were you creating art even before the Madrid moment? Before the 'official' starting point of your career?

Oh, thank you so much Pkok! Yes, I always made art in one form or another. I don't remember an exact moment in my life where I started creating, but I remember drawing, taking pictures with my father's analog. I don't know, I always did everything, ceramics, sculpture, slides, interior decoration. I dedicated myself professionally to designing and making clothes and then mainly to photography. It was hard to leave a stable working world, but after a health episode and the push from Cánon, my life changed completely in the working aspect. Now I just work for myself and do what I like 😊

Not really, I was always self-taught in my artistic facet. Although I had very good teachers at the University, but only in the theoretical side of art.

How would you describe your artistic style to someone unfamiliar with your work?

I would describe my style as surrealist, with a strong inclination for the unexpected and the conceptual. My work explores themes of identity and metamorphosis, fusing elements of reality and the imaginary, with figures that are often headless or have unusual substitutions, it's like a metaphor for my own life. For someone who is not familiar, I would say that my style seeks to break with the established.
