She made history by winning the Portrait Photographer of the Year award from the Professional Photographers of Canada for three consecutive years (2019–2021). Her innovative work has also shone on global stages, with top placements in the WPPI and WPE competitions, and a Bronze Medal in the 2019 World Photographic Cup. Her exceptional skill is recognized through her Masters of Photographic Arts designation from the PPOC. Notably, her work #MeatToo, conceived during the 2018 "Me Too" movement, critiques the objectification of women and the commodification of flesh, extending to animal rights. Initially minted on Foundation in 2021, it was controversially banned, later reinstated because of the community support and protest against censorship in art, but finally burned. West re-minted it on Tezos, followed by #MeatToo2 in 2023, reinforcing her commitment to advocacy and artistic integrity.

‘Bloom’, her most recent collection on Tezos (Dec. 2024), explores the resilience and strength of women forced to thrive in the harshest conditions, much like nature’s ability to create life in the most unforgiving environments.
