in the center of Shanghai: I'm standing on one of the busy streets, and at a traffic light they asked me what I hear... I answered that only the noise of people talking... it was surprising because there were a lot of cars at the traffic light.

Sounds like a stark contrast to the sounds of the slopes, where the only noise is the rush of wind and the crunch of snow beneath your skis.
