Did you know that in the Georgian language there are two different words for “goosebumps”? I just learned that recently, and I was amazed. • დამბურძგლა (damburdzgla) — goosebumps in the literal sense, the physical sensation on the skin. • ჟრუანტელი (zhruanteli) — an emotional shiver or tremble that can cause goosebumps. A few years ago, I realized I needed to somehow mark the place Georgia holds in my life and heart. That’s how I ended up with a tattoo behind my ear that says ჟრუანტელი (zhruanteli). It sounds incredibly beautiful and gentle, and at the same time, it powerfully expresses what I feel for Georgia. 💔
