A Manzoni/Manzotin urban legend has circulated for many years. In reality, this is all false. Manzotin is a brand name created by the Milan-based company Zeta Carni, whose patriarch Gianalbeto Zerbi came up with the idea for this name, which combines the words Manzo (from which much of the product's meat is taken) and Tin (which in English means 'can') ... ciao )
