Universal Rayhatcher is the largest collab I ever did. Initially to prove it was a bad idea, I felt that adding parameters for collectors to control output was reductive to genart because it's the artists' job to make choices (DYOR, not artistic advice). (URH351)

I thought too much freedom, and it would be a bad experience for both. Explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. You understand it better but the frog dies in the process. Is this also the case for genart? (URH324)

Fortunately I kind of like dissecting jokes. So I turned up the freedom to 11. Sliders, knobs, numerical values, no. You want freedom, you get to write the entire formula. It was never going to work right? I asked a few artist friends, if I make this, will you try it? (URH47)

And so they did. Trying to maintain some semblance of control, I priced the mint practically free and tried to maintain an allowlist for people who I thought would do a good job. Then the requests came in, and I am way too nice :) (URH7)

Misunderstanding/misconfigurating the fxparams ticketing system, mint tickets ended up on secondary and for a while, anyone could do absolutely anything. My attempt at proving a point had backfired spectacularly. (URH129)
