What's your favourite function?

Generative Artist ~ In the beginning there was code, and the code had a groove ~ Creator of Skulptuur (see http://skulpturen.nl) and other impossible things

But I also have this custom loop function that I use all the time:

F=(N,f)=>[...Array(N)].map((_,i)=>f(i));

As a first, I was gonna go with smoothstep

do you love off-by-one errors? fighting fence posts? do your arrays also start at one? (in which case you might like Lua!) ;-)

but seriously don't you get loads of "+ 1" and "- 1" elsewhere in your code if you do this?

if not, what do you use it for?

Math.floor(Math.random() * ((max-min)+1) + min 

- use it all the time

Easings are up there for me… hard to pick one, though.

Also might include some custom color functions (which slightly tweak colors, rather than create new colors).

I also enjoy using noise() and breaking it.
