🚨 Don't use Render in production 🚨

Unreliable. I've seen our DB connections get super slow > Render's own admin interface down > status.render.com still green.

This morning we saw over two hours downtime. (They admit 1.5.)

My responsibility, buck stops with me. Switching to AWS & adding redundancy.

Same thing happened to us, we were down as well. Going to AWS is an option (cheaper, more redundancy) however the benefits I get out of the CI/CD tools in Render is significant as a 1 person dev team.

I am however interested in having a hot slave outside of Render, maybe an RDS?
