1,590 CoinStats crypto wallets ‘affected’ in security breach. Cryptocurrency portfolio manager CoinStats has temporarily suspended user activity following a security breach that affected 1,590 crypto wallets. “The attack has been mitigated, and we have temporarily shut down the application to isolate the security incident,” CoinStats wrote in a June 22 X post. “Thanks to the immediate incident response from the CoinStats team, only 1.3% of all CoinStats Wallets were affected, totaling 1,590 wallets,” it added, while claiming that “none of the connected wallets and CEXes were impacted.”

Long-term Bitcoin holders started selling off in January, but long-term Ethereum holders are still accumulating. IntoTheBlock published a report stating that data shows that long-term Bitcoin holders began selling in January, but long-term Ethereum holders are still accumulating. Currently, 27.5% of the total market value of the Ethereum supply is collateralized, with 16.3% of the collateralized ETH being re-collateralized through protocols like Eigenlayer. This highlights the strong demand for natural yield from ETH holders. Additionally, long-term holders can wait for Ethereum ETF approval and all-time highs before deciding to sell. IntoTheBlock said that as market prices rise, long-term holders begin to sell the assets they have accumulated over time. Historical data shows that this profit-taking typically begins early in a bull market and continues beyond the peak of the cycle, so tracking this activity can help estimate market peaks more exactly.

Full-chain NFT protocol Holograph has issued an update on recent security incidents, stating that a former contractor exploited a vulnerability to mint an additional 1 billion HLG tokens on Mantle, causing the protocol to be temporarily locked . The team is developing strategies to minimize the impact of the vulnerability and working with security experts to prevent similar incidents from happening again. The attacker's exchange accounts on Bybit, Gate, KuCoin, Bitget, and Backpack were frozen, and at least 200 million of the additional 1 billion HLG minted were frozen. At the same time, the relevant trading platform suspended all HLG deposits and withdrawals. Next, officials will conduct third-party protocol audits and continue to promote full-chain token infrastructure and applications.

Why is Solana (SOL) price up today? Solana price is up today, helped by a potential spot Ethereum ETF launch in the United States and continued outperformance by Solana-based memecoins.
