It's amazing what humans used to build as temporary structures for the world's fair events of the early 20th century. The Palace of Fine Arts is all that's left of an entire district that was constructed for the Panama-Pacific Int'l Exposition in 1915, and it's easily one of the coolest buildings in /sf
