I wouldn't trust wallets 100%. I have a Ledger I like their style and vibe. A lot of people also recommend Trezor but it looks too brutalized

I can vouch for Gnosis Safe. They support Base and other L2s. Great pairing would be 2 hot wallet s+ cold wallet for creating Gnosis Safe.

Trezor only supports Ethereum, Bitcoin and Litecoin atm.
