Today, I encountered a situation I didn't anticipate, considering that warpcast positions itself as a fraud-free platform. The situation itself isn't new, but I let my guard down and trusted.

Checking my phone, I received a notification from warpcast that the top builder @lamaboo.eth had a new cast. Upon clicking the cast, I saw "gm onchain city" and a minting link beneath the greeting, seemingly from the same Lama Boo.

Naturally, details blur when there's a "sense of security." Following the link impulsively, I saw the real Lama Boo in the top minters, and without hesitation, minted 3 NFTs at 0.04 ETH each.

After boasting to my comrades, I was unpleasantly surprised. I was pointed out as falling for the scammer's bait. As of writing this message, 2 hours have passed, and the scammer's link is still up.
