OK does anyone have any idea why conventional "breakfast" food seems to so often come with absolutely no vegetables?

It's just a matter of programming your brain. I'm traveling in China at the moment and just this morning I tried the local breakfast at the hotel, centenarian eggs, stew and Dim sum. It was perfect (although I must admit I did have some coffee, no kidding).
