imo there are pretty much like only 3 types of protocol governance raison d'être 1. ecosystem development (nouns, optimism, arbitrum) 2. params mgmt (maker, aave, comp, lyra) 3. wish-we-didn't-have-to-have-it-but-we-do (ens, uni, lido)
