Basically, Frames are NFTs you acquire by simply pressing the “Mint” (or equivalent) button on the screen of the Warpast app (or alternative Farcaster client). You don’t even need Warps for this; that 1 click sends the Frame straight to the Ethereum address linked to your Farcaster account.

Do frames have any other functions?

They are also being used for other gas-free interactions on Farcaster, including surveys, polls and the like where respondents click a series of buttons.

Then there are usecases I've yet to grasp, like turning casts into Frames to embed in casts. Which could be useful as attestation or recasting with a cleaner UI?
