The recent significant community distributions, such as those by Arbitrum, have given rise to a new wave of ru-speaking influencers. Many of these young influencers, unable to grasp the concept of survival bias, believed they had mastered the market. This sense of overconfidence has fostered the development of an entirely new community around them. Like thousands of small fish, they began seeking new projects and chains to abbuse, with the hope of earning a so-called 'conservative million.' That was exactly the moment I realised you better not put all your eggs in one basket and that the retro niche might have already peaked, at least on EVM chains. The LayerZero game proved to be a stroke of genius on how to mess with the community of hungry and sometimes crazy retro-hunters. However, all the retrodrops that followed turned out to be huge disappointments.
