Took a 20 minute Uber today, cost me $19.89. Driver took home a little over $5. 

Uber's take is 75% - that seems surprisingly high. I would have expected a split closer to 50-50.

It's crazy how much companies are keeping for themselves. The drivers put in all the work and see such a small fraction of the fare. Makes you wonder if platforms like Uber should reassess their fare split. Drivers deserve a better share for the service they provide.
