I was tipped between 1k and 3k $degen yesterday but my points balance has not moved by a iota.. .. Same for my rank = same rank as yesterday even though that probability must be very low .. Same for my allowance = same as yesterday . What could have happened? . Will it be refreshed during the day?

I got completely zeroed out. 11k degen in wallet. Gave out tips, then got canceled completely, nice app and community here 🤷♂️

Have you overtipped ? Even if you're careful and check your "official" balance on degen tips and in frames, the dune query may show a different allowance and hence show you've overtipped... I don't know why.
