GM - I have found standups to be one of the most important parts of my daily work routine. prev at corpo-gigs I've found them stale and scripted with the "yesterday I worked on...today i'm working on...no blockers" with a small team, it's crucial to meet as often as possible and to use this as a time to catch up

use standups to be personal: - "how are you today? - "what'd you do yesterday / over the weekend / after you logged off?" - "are you good? do you wanna talk about anything?"
