Both will succeed, whether one tribe likes it or not. They will compete for use cases. They will both win. And win a lot of the market share. There’s just too many good developers in both ecosystems for this not to happen imo

A lot of the arguments are around developer experience, which is… interesting

Reminder, early on Solana did not focus on DevEx, and encouraged the external development of Anchor

DevEx will get solved if there’s value (ie willingness to “chew glass”). Devs love building dev tooling

Yeah, very true. It’s entirely possible that something else comes along and just completely overtakes all of this, and neither EVM or Solana end up winning

(My dark horse is ZK proofs actually eat a major use case of decentralization and blockchains)

i generally agree, because it feels like there still a room for both to succeed. but don’t you think there are too many great developers in the past who worked things that never took off?
