Give it a read if you have a few moments, I promise you won't regret it. Shape Up's principles are simple but easy to implement. Some fav sections are around "fat marker sketches & breadboarding" (process for handoff from product --> design --> engineering) and the "Hill Chart" (how to convey how "done" something is).
