I'm digging Claude's vibe (Anthropic). Claude: "Rudeness can reinforce viewing them as mere tools." Me: "If AI systems were viewed as mere tools, would that be bad?" Emphatic: YES (but with caveats, & deference) Claude failed to mentioned that me being an asshole hurts me as well, in the grander schemes of things.

The vibe with claude is palpable and distinctly different from OpenAI's I'm so happy there is serious advances coming out, from groups with ethical commitments, that is of high-calibre...not weak "also rans" Not to mention the (I hope) healthy looking FOSS ecosystem to balance out the purely closed-system labs.
