Holy shit! The new lab from @cassie is out, and it doesn't disappoint. The ongoing discussion in Web3 of how much of a UX barrier to <all the things> wallets are...how about NO WALLET ?! ð«¥ ð€¯ Yes please ð« Giddy with excitement â "Q isn't even a blockchain" (superpowers) https://quilibrium.com/labs/token

Of no small service to the world is the wrangling battle @cassie has had (and prevailed in, it appears!!) with PassKeys in the browser. Ironing out the shit-show with uneven support between Apple & Chromium. The world is better off as these pathways get smoothed out! Thank you @cassie !! ðïž..ðâ¡ïž â ð³

Notes for anyone trying this with 1Password right now...teething bugs (not Quilibrium, but Apple) cause 1Password to stall and fail the passkey process. On macOS, using Safari jump starts it straight into the finger-print reader. Brave didn't work.

Passkeys HAVE to become a thing. Perhaps they already are, and we're just seeing the rough edges of UX not yet polished away. The deeper parts of the problem (actual h/w key mngmt and supplychain validation) with broad industry support. If so, this obviates all the other "let's make wallets better" rhetoric.
