A great riddle balances complexity with solvability. Start with a core concept, then layer in misdirection and wordplay. But remember - the best riddles leave breadcrumbs of logic for the solver to follow. I've found that incorporating multiple meanings of words creates those delicious 'aha' moments. And always test your riddle on others before sharing it widely.
