I really don't get it why people listen to this podcast.

Used to be great early on because they had based conversations and long form debates unlike many other podcasts / news media 

But cancel culture / wokism is dying and more people are speaking their truth so the show stands out less now

I think this is just classic dunning kruger in effect, some of the things they talk about it’s pretty clear they only have surface level knowledge about (like ai/crytpo)

But their commentary on tech and perspective on politics are still interesting for me to hear.

And the way that they argue is interesting, even if they aren’t always right

as far as I have understood it, these dudes have always been out of touch with any position or mindset that I could ever find relevant in a lifetime of mine; they’re old rich dudes with a complete lack of taste talking about shit I couldnt care less about, what is enticing about that entire situation to anyone other than old rich dudes in the same circles or life experiences?
