I think the idea is you get a smaller but more active user base, rather than a larger but more passive base?

I can see that to a degree. and they can always swap out the coin they support. it also sort of feels like double dipping. you are betting multiple things when you place a bet. which is very... degen, so perhaps on brand.

Oh yeah I don’t know about the rationality of betting with the coin that is itself a bet. But a lot of people got it for free, so easy come easy go maybe?
