Why wallet? Better UX in an app you use every day Make onchain actions reliable and smooth directly from the feed—frames and token links. No app switching or deeplink bugs. Automatic onboarding New users don’t need to download a separate app—it’s already there when you sign up. If you get a reward, a $degen tip or an airdrop in your first week, it just works. “Singapore of crypto” Today, Farcaster is much smaller than web2 social networks. However, if the % of active users *with funded wallets* is really high, we have a near term opportunity to be a “small-population-but-high-GDP country”. Developers can permissionlessly launch a frame, have it appear on Farcaster clients that have integrated wallets. “Get to your first 10,000 transactions by launching on Farcaster”. Yes, you can launch on other networks, but their algos hate links and the drop off from seeing something in a feed to website to wallet is going to be high.

What is our current strategy? Grow the number of daily active users on the social network 1. Differentiation 2. Growth mechanics 3. Infra for more users 4. Content *** 1. Lean into what makes Farcaster different: that’s onchain UX through frames and wallet 2. Grow users: continue to iterate on invites and incentives like rewards (which are paid out onchain, helping #1) 3. Scale the protocol: make the protocol work for other apps that want to integrate, e.g. Base. There’s a bunch of work to do here, including Snapchain, Sign in with Farcaster, cheaper sign ups 4. Increase supply of content: understand pain points from people who produce content full-time / part-time and see if there’s a scalable way Farcaster can solve this.

What are you frustrated with re: Farcaster? I won't argue with you -- will just ask clarifying questions. Will address the top issues in a cast tomorrow or Monday.

there’s a very subtle but large difference between: + as fast as possible as best as possible + as best as possible as fast as possible it’s important to know which mode you are in or choosing.
