How do you feel about the possible Akira live action?

Rare are the live-action adaptations that are truly good indeed. At best, it will be a gem 🤔  at worst, my brain will act as if it never existed 😉 But well, everyone has the right to try, so it will be a why not for me.

tbh, I feel the same way. Akira is a landmark for cyberpunk and I think they can ruin it so easily.

Absolutely no. Statistically speaking there s a 80 to 90% chance its gonna be disappointing. A movie though, like what they did with Dune, would be a better option imo.

This isn't a real take but my general response is that, "it'll be good if it's good and bad if it's bad."

I've seen good adaptations of stuff, bad adaptations, and everything in the middle. Nothing is anything by default.
