How do we make Farcaster a place where we firmly stand ground against memecoins & FOR legit project tokens?

A place where positive-sum builders thrive?

Solana = trench warfare, everything PVP
Farcaster = the frontier, yes there are bandits & robbers, but settlers & pioneers in search of a better future are more numerous

Open to all suggestions.

"Base Season" = a couple scams did ok a few months ago, then $Virtual moved to Solana after Coinbase refused to list it

Virtuals on Solana is a huge L &amp; should be considered a wake up call @base

Imo the only way for Base to gain relevance is to double down on the "Base is for builders" narrative.

Solana won the meme game, its over.

Thanks to @itsbasil, I‘ve been obsessing over this idea of a Farcaster lore project 😅 

Way I see it, Farcaster is the most vibrant community of positive-sum builders, supporting each other in building different pieces & visions of onchain socioeconomic systems & games.

2 issues:
- Increasingly difficult to track what inspired what & whats legitimate or not 
- Growing prosperity will get more & more grifters to join to extract value

There‘s a HUGE need for something like Farclore, to help keep track of the evolution of the Farcaster ecosystem, legitimacy of participants etc.

i do think Base can & SHOULD combine both worlds, i just think they should be combined by gambling on legit projects (like the ones you listed)

if more people were gambling on actual projects vs memecoins, we would see a lot more actual projects & less memecoins - industry-wide incentives are perverted

clanker itself would prob still be much higher if it wasnt a memecoin

I believe Base can combine both worlds. Let speculators speculate. Lets builders build. Let them both enjoy the fruits of their work.
