One of the first things you need to know about Bulgaria is our traditional yogurt or kiselo mlyako in Bulgarian Lactobacillus bulgaricus - the bacteria used to make yogurt - is only found naturally in Bulgarian air. It was discovered by Bulgarian physician and microbiologist Stamen Grigorov (1878 - 1945) Personally, I love eating kiselo mlyako and cannot imagine a day without it ๐Ÿ˜‹
