🇬🇧UK: "Lady Parts"
🛣️Introduction: The story focuses on the Muslim punk band "Lady Parts", whose members include nerdy doctoral student, lead guitarist Amina Hussein, and fierce and mysterious lead singer Saira. Amina is eager to find a husband, and Saira uses this as a bargaining chip, saying that as long as Amina joins the band, she will help her arrange a date. Amina has never seen such a group of girls, and soon immersed in their joy of breaking the rules.
🎸Muslim + punk, the impact of these two elements is enough to watch. It feels like a typical British youth drama. Although the theme has nothing to do with love, it tells the process of five girls exploring and discovering themselves together. In fact, I think the biggest feature of this drama is that it is funny, really really funny!
