Distractions abound and all around my own body things call out to draw my thoughts away from a crucial task at hand which finally slips my mind for good. Thus hour by hour and day by day until it all starts flashing back, all lost tasks and missing goals, in that final instant of my dying gasp, knowing at last and fully that I was not my own.
